The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MNPCA) has finished a Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) and a Watershed Restoration and Production Strategy Report (WRAPS) for the Pomme de Terre Watershed. The WRAPS report brings together 10 years of water quality monitoring, follow-up assessment, stressor identification and planning. The TMDL report calculates the maximum possible total phosphorus, total suspended solids, and bacteria in the form of Escherichia coli (E. coli) impairments in three lakes and four streams located in the Pomme de Terre River Watershed. The Pomme de Terre is one of 80 major watersheds in Minnesota that are continuously monitored on a 10-year cycle by the MNPCA. You can view both reports on the Pomme de Terre Watershed page, and learn more about WRAPS and TMDL reports on MNPCA website.
