1W1P Midpoint Amendment

In August 2020, the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) approved the Pomme de Terre River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan (PdT CWMP or Plan). The PdT CWMP identifies the key resources in the watershed (water quality, habitat, drinking water, etc.), as well as the necessary actions and goals to protect and manage them.

In 2025, the PdT CWMP reached the midpoint of its 10-year lifespan. After implementing activities for six years, the planning partnership (Partnership) embarked on an evaluation to assess its efforts and progress towards the goals outlined in the plan. Based on outcomes of the mid-point evaluation, the Partnership recommended language to re-characterize each goal to ensure their functionality moving into the future. These changes will be pursued in a CWMP Minor Amendment.
